2012-05-18 08:48:19為了保護龍環葡韻白鷺林的自然生態環境，喚起市民對自然資源的關心及愛護，並更有效向政府反映我們熱切關注政府當局對履行環境保育工作及承諾，澳門環保學生聯會聯同社交網絡上“愛鷺林，愛澳門”群組、“綠色。生活。在澳門”群組、“澳門環保之友”群組及“澳門人．澳門情．澳門事”專頁於5月20日(星期日)下午三時於澳門街坊會聯合總會核下機構迎聚點（地址：澳門啤利喇街寶豐工業大廈7樓A座，在幸運閣附近）進行保鷺．保家園 “世界環境日”愛綠行動記者招待會。
本次活動是一項聯合本澳一群熱心關注環保的人士共同向政府提出關注本澳環境保育活動的首次公開活動， 現專函誠邀大家的參與。

龍環葡韻鷺鳥林是澳門僅有的7個淡水濕地之一，亦是頻臨絕種的鷺鳥選擇棲息之地，每年有超過500隻約30至40不同種類的鳥類在那裡繁殖或棲息。該區是澳門這小城難能可貴的自然寶庫，向來是市民及遊客親近大自然及觀鳥的首選。可是，政府最近突然宣佈計劃在鷺鳥林旁興建交通資訊安全中心，此舉將嚴重破壞澳門的自然生態環境和寶貴的自然鳥林。因此，環保人士和團體現正舉行網上簽名活動，希望保衛鷺鳥林。我希望您能前往http://www.petitions24.com/macau-egret簽名表示支持。

The wetland near the Taipa Houses Museum is one of just seven wetlands remaining in Macau. It is also the one and only place for egrets to nestle in. Each year, more than 500 egrets of various species breed or rest on this land. There are approximately 30 to 40 different types of egrets. The land is the most precious natural treasure in Macau and it is a place where both tourists and residents can get closer to nature and enjoy bird-watching. Unfortunately, the government has recently announced that it plans to build a Traffic Information & Safety Center right next to the land where the egrets live and breed. This will destroy the precious natural environment of Macau. Therefore, environmental groups and individuals are organizing an online petition in the hope to protect the egret wetland.
